For the couples who’d rather be in the wilderness than at a wedding venue

Peak Memories Photography captures intimate nature elopements in North Georgia and wherever love calls

That's the gift of eloping. You get to move at your own pace. You get to prioritize experience over expectation. You get to experience everything without having to do anything (other than just be).

Just a day that feels like the truest version of yourselves.

your wedding day could be designed around what actually matters to you?

What if, instead of managing a crowd, you spent ten hours fully present with each other? What if you exchanged vows on a mountain peak with no one watching except the two of you (and me, quietly documenting it all)

what if..

and I help introverted, nature-loving couples elope on their terms (without the stress, the crowd, or the guilt).

It all started at a backyard wedding where I had a moment of clarity.
I was photographing a beautiful ceremony with nearly 200 guests. At one point during the reception, I noticed the bride sitting alone in the shade, catching her breath. We ended up chatting, and something struck me: weddings weren't designed with introverts in mind.

The constant hosting. The performing. The pressure to be "on" for hours. The couple barely gets a moment alone together on what's supposed to be their day.

I’m Jenna,

I realized I'd been photographing weddings I would never want for myself. I'm the person who grew up taking photos of birds and butterflies in quiet corners of the world. Who finds peace alone in the mountains, camera in hand, waiting for the light to shift.

That’s when I started seeking out free-spirited couples instead.

"We are so glad we chose Jenna to be our elopement photographer.

Her attention to detail, kindness and support, patience, creative direction, communication, and ability to capture a moment are truly unmatched. From great recommendations to helping us wrangle our toddler, the care she puts into everything she does is beyond apparent. We couldn't have hoped for a better day or better documentation of it. If you're looking for a great photographer, you've found the best."

"Jenna was the perfect photographer for our elopement at Fort Mountain State Park.

She embraced every part of the experience—from the trails and views to the quiet, emotional moments—and captured it all so effortlessly. She guided us when we needed it, gave us space when we didn’t, and made the entire experience fun, relaxed, and meaningful. The photos are absolutely stunning and we will cherish them forever. Even planning and coordinating everything from out of state, Jenna was always available for guidance and questions. If you’re considering eloping, I highly recommend Peak Memories Photography for your special day!"

Some of my favorite adventures: rappelling down waterfalls in Costa Rica, swimming with sharks in the Caribbean, hiking a glacier in Iceland, swimming in hot springs in the Azores, cliff diving in Hawaii, and surfing all over the world.

I moved to Georgia from Massachusetts in 2020 and fell in love with the Blue Ridge Mountains.

My happy place is anywhere outdoors, listening to the peaceful sounds of nature doing its thing.

Leave No Trace:

The mountains and other outdoor spots have given us so much beauty to witness and photograph. The least we can do is leave them exactly as we found them so future couples can experience the same magic.

I'm Leave No Trace certified, which means I follow a set of principles designed to minimize our impact on the environment.

When we're out on the trails for your elopement, here's what that looks like:

how we protect the places we love on your elopement day

We choose locations that offer privacy but also respect other hikers and visitors sharing the space.

We're mindful of others.

Rocks, plants, and natural objects, stay where they are. We're here to document the landscape, not alter it.

We leave what we find.

We observe from a distance and never feed, touch, or disturb animals.

We respect wildlife.

This protects vegetation and prevents erosion. If we're going off-trail for a specific shot, we do it carefully and minimize our footprint.

We stay on designated trails.

Trash, leftover food, confetti—it all comes with us when we leave.

We pack out everything we bring in.

Ready to take it to the mountains?

I'd love to hear where you're dreaming of going—what peaks are calling you, what kind of adventure feels right, what moments matter most.
